Putting your best foot forward

I took Lelly's challenge of interpreting putting your best foot forward. When I look down at my feet I don't see anything pretty like Angie's, but I do feel a sense of gratitude for these Fred Flinstone feet of mine. They have traveled with me through ten different countries, and across the continental US. They also, carried the burden when I was pregnant three different times. They allow me stand and cook for my family, exercise, play at the park with my children, dance, play a game of footsie, and let me feel sexy in a pair of strappy-high heeled sandals.

These feet of mine may be rough, calloused, usually barefoot, naked without polish, but on those rare occasions, I love the fact that I have these feet of mine that allow me to feel alive.

I don't see Fred Flintstone feet!! You have very cute feet and am so jealous at the cute shoes you are always wearing. I remember the first time I met you in in Utah last summer, at how I was amazed you were wearing cute sandals with heels to go shopping in. I like to wear sexy shoes but comfort always wins my battle and I resort back to my Cobian flip flops.
Great post!

If you had Fred Flintstone feet, they would not fit in those cute shoes! Your pink toenails are the perfect compliment to the shoes. Cute! I loved this post!

Beautiful feet with beautifully polished toes. I agree, how lucky we are to have these calloused feet to carry us through the days. Such a good mode of transportation. Love those shoes, you should feel sexy!

I think your feet are cute, and those shoes are adorable! The weather here does not allow for shoes like those -- yet.

You have cute feet...and toes and shoes. I would rather post a photo of myself naked(not going to happen) then a photo of my feet. They are really gross.
