Tagged

I have been tagged...Thanks Jenny. I will attempt to try and find six unusual things about myself.

  1. I am very afraid of Indian reservations. When I was a little girl my dad use to tease me and say that "Indians liked blonde headed little girls". We use to travel to Arizona all the time during my childhood, and each time I would hide under a blanket. Still to this day I don't like traveling through reservations.
  2. I take extremely hot showers and I usually come out of the shower looking like a lobster.
  3. I have a hard time falling asleep without cuddling with Richard. Some part of my body has to be touching his. When he is on call I usually have to resort to taking Tylenol PM to get to sleep.
  4. I dislike to be alone.
  5. I make weird faces while putting on my makeup.
  6. I was not able to nurse any of my children, but I did try all three times. I still feel a little guilty about not being able too.

I now tag Jordan, Rebecca, and Jill

I'm from Arizona and have been to a lot of Indian Reservations. That is really funny that your dad would say that.

I love hot showers, too. I turn my handle to the very hottest and just stand there.

Thanks again for the Pink Christmas gift. So cute!

That's kind of bizarre about the Indian Reservations, that didn't factor into my childhood at all.

Randy's body temperature is so hot that I can't stand to have even my foot touching his when I go to sleep (sad).

I love to be alone!

I make weird faces when I put on make-up too.

Oh, the silly things people tell us when we are kids that traumatize us! I think I would feel the same way if I was you. One time my sister told me I was a female but she said it in an "oh yeah, well you're a female" kind of voice. I had no idea what the word meant, yet somehow I felt so offended. I think my mom must have had a good laugh out of that one when she explained to me that I was indeed a female.

What a great post for me to start with Ali. All this time I have been deprived of your blogging world...until now! I often wonder about cameras behind mirrors...I think it would make for a great documentary.

Does this mean we can't ever met you at Lake Powell or even come visit me when we move back to AZ?

I think I make weird faces too.

Now aren't you glad your list--hee hee.

I get lobster skin, too.

Hey, thanks for the recipes by the way. Can't wait to try some out. That was a lot of work to put those together.

Too funny. Kristy is right, the things people told us when we were kids...I remember my sister telling me that life really was a dream (from row row row your boat) and I was so upset!! My take on breast feeding is a little different, so I think it's just fine if they were bottle fed!! :) Don't feel guilty! And thanks for the tasty looking sugar cookie recipe. I've been looking for a good one, it looks yummy. I like the sour cream...sounds like it makes it super creamy and moist. Can't wait to try it!!

Fun list. I'm right there with you on the nursing my girls. I had to resort to the pump, very painful but it was worth it. It made me not feel so guilty about nursing. I thin kI make funny faces especially while applying mascara. I hate to be alone, too. That one definitely made my list.

I agree with the hot showers. When I was in Mexico for 2 weeks on a service project while in college, we had to shower in a box-like room with a garden hose slung over one of the walls. I can STILL recall the chill on the small of my back, the worst part!
Fun list!
